Central Bank of India (CBI), one of India’s oldest and most trusted nationalized public sector banks, has officially released the Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for Financial Year 2026-27. A total of 4500 vacancies have been announced across all states for Graduate candidates who wish to gain practical banking experience at Central Bank of India branches.

The online application process started on 12 June 2026 and the last date has been Extended to 28 June 2026 (fee payment last date also 28 June 2026). Candidates must apply through the official CBI recruitment portal beep.bfsissc.com (direct application) or the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal at nats.education.gov.in. The examination is expected in the first week of July 2026 and Admit Cards will be available before the exam. This recruitment is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain one-year banking experience and receive a monthly stipend.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation Degree in any stream from any recognized University in India
  • Fresh graduates with no prior work experience are also eligible to apply
  • Candidates must have completed their graduation before the application date

Age Limit (as on 31 May 2026):

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years

📝 Selection Process for CBI Apprentice 2026

Stage 1 – Online Written Examination (First Week July 2026)

  • Sections: General Awareness / Current Affairs, English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability / Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge
  • Qualifying marks as per CBI norms
